Swallowing Stones 2-11-09

In the book, the point of view is changing. Read chapter 14 to yourself. How does the point of view from the 1st half of the book differ from the 2nd half of the book. Why do you think the author does this? What does this say about peoples' perspectives in different situations?

In chapter 14 in Swallowing Stones, the perspective has been changed to Jenna's side. Instead of the story being frantic and stressful through Micheal's side it has now to changed to the sad and depresssing side to Jenna's story. I think the author does this becuase he's trying to make the story more interesting by giving two different story than just one.

Dear Ms. Lengyel,
Here is my blog thing, because I forgot my username and password like always, and I didn't feel like wasting time trying to figure it out, so yeah!

It goes from Jenna's POV, to Michael's and shows what they are going through, during this whole situation. I think the author does this, because she wants to show what both characters are going through. That some people care more about certain things, than others.

Mary Keenan

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
